quote: SURPRISE, SURPRISE!
Thanks to cosmic forces (i.e. the incompetence of our pressing plant), the first press of "Fuck the Universe" (Carnal Records version, CR-006) has the wrong colors on booklet pages 1 and 4, as well as the back cover. The grey is too dark. For example, the front cover should look something like the image above. All this even though we used the Pantone Color Matching System to ensure the colors would not be wrong in print, as it has been so many times before with CRAFT. Who can forget classics like the blue vinyl of "Total Soul Rape"? It was supposed to be silver.
Although we don't know who's fault it was the last time, since everybody is blaming everybody, we know Carnal Records are not to be blamed for this. We are still looking into it by talking with the pressing plant.
Nothing wrong with the CD otherwise. It's just a different shade of grey than we wanted. It might seem like a trivial thing to bitch about, but who the hell should decide what colors should be on the album anyway? CRAFT or the hippies at the pressing plant? Unfortunately, there are no Satanic pressing plants where the personnel would be competent. That's the fucking universe for you.
This version is still the official release, since the copies have been sent to distributors already, directly from the pressing plant. There were simply nothing we could do about it anymore, except start harassing the pressing plant and get some form of compensation for their idiocy.
nieuwe cd is trouwens wederom een echte kraker
