Ik ben d'r uit...ik vind dit album beter dan de laatste Nile en de laatste Behemoth. Een van de beste death metal albums van de laatste jaren durf ik gerust te zeggen.

Wat een geniale bruutheid!
Het duurt redelijk lang voordat het album al z'n geheimen prijs geeft maar het loont de moeite dubbel en dwars.

Een goede vingertechniek is iets moois.

Ik zit 'Immerse In Infinity' weer eens te luisteren, en het is een van de weinige platen waar ik een beetje akelig gevoel krijg bij de snelheden (of snelheid, want zoveel varieert het tempo feitelijk niet) die de drummer weet te halen.

Ondanks dat echter wel een supergaaf album, en dat kan ik niet zeggen over veel andere retesnelle death metal-platen.

Om te vieren dat Lost Soul binnenkort 20 jaar bestaat (dat de band een aantal jaar geleden even was opgedoekt, wordt voor het gemak maar vergeten), komt er op 1 mei 2011 een 4-cd/dvd uit. Jammer genoeg staat er waarschijnlijk geen nieuw eigen materiaal hierop. En nu maar hopen dat Lost Soul eindelijk weer eens een optreden geeft in Nederland!

Lost Soul gaat ook nog een video maken voor het nummer 'Personal Universe' van de laatst verschenen cd.

It’s been a year since Lost Soul’s fourth album „Immerse In Infinity”. The great reception of the album is something we could not fail to notice. We would like to thank all our fans for the huge support we got at concerts, in the media, and comments in music forums and social networks. Big “thank you!” also goes to: Witching Hour Productions for all the fantastic effort they have put into promoting of the band, and to the journalists and Maniacs trusting and supporting Lost Soul, to Massive Music for inviting us to Aealo Tour where we got the chance to kick headbangers’ asses all around Poland - alongside almighty Rotting Christ.

There we are – 2010 is coming to an end and Lost Soul – having just finished intensive promotion of “Immerse in Infinity” – ain’t having a slack! We’re preparing an outstanding surprise release! At the turn of 2010/2011 Lost Soul will have existed for 20 years, therefore we chose 11th of December 2010 as perfect date to organize our anniversary concert with special guests by our side. The invited bands will include our friends from TRAUMA, HERMH, CRIONICS, GORTAL (second act of our drummer Desecrate), EXTINCT GODS (second act of our guitarist Domin) and FAM – a secret 4 piece act including Stoker and Mlody (of DISSENTER fame). Come round and see us on 11th December 2010 at 5:30PM, Madness Club (Wroclaw, Hubska 6).

The anniversary concert is just a foretaste for the series of events that you’re going to witness from January to June 2011! Over the last few weeks we’ve spent every spare minute recording the anniversary album entitled “Genesis – XX Years of ChaoZ” – a special four CD album to be released 1 May 2011. The first CD will contain 16 re-recorded songs from Lost Soul’s first two demo albums and some pieces off “Scream of the Mourning Star” and „Ubermensch (Death of God)” – additionally it will feature two covers and a surprise… Ain’t it something? Second CD of “Genesis” will contain 22 remastered original song versions of “Immerse in Infinity”, including the very first demo. The live album recorded in Stodola Club (Warsaw) during a gig with Gojira and Masachist (and several other songs tracked totally live during the tour) will constitute the third CD. The fourth disc – on top of all that – is just a DVD of our concert in Progresja, including previously unpublished live footage from our band camera and loads of extra eye candy. All inside the ultimate digipack 4CD release. Simple as that.

If all this doesn’t come as a bombshell to you, we’re planning to shoot another video for „Immerse In Infinity” – „Personal Universe” and to make you drool I can reveal that we’re going to tour Poland in fall 2011. We’ve earned a Headliner status and we’re proud to confirm that with our new video and the release of “Genesis – XX Years of ChaoZ”. Just to top it up I’ll say there are coming new designs of our websites, new merchandise, and with the end of December we start teasing you with (surprise surprise!) video studio reports. Gear up!

Volgens Witching Hour Productions, het platenlabel van Lost Soul, komt Genesis-XX Years of Chaoz op 24 september 2012 als dubbel-cd uit. Op dezelfde dag verschijnt naar verwachting de nieuwste cd van Trauma (Karma Obscura).

En hun oude drummer, Adam Sierżęga, speelt nu bij Armagedon en live bij Azarath (wanneer Inferno tourt met Behemoth)

Dat hebben ze mooi niet gehaald, nu al bijna twee jaar vertraagd en nu dus zonder dvd/live opnames blijkbaar... het zou eerst 4 schijfjes bevatten.

Leuk tussendoortje misschien, doe mij liever een vervolg op Immerse In Infinity;

Lost Soul
After considerable success of Immerse in Infinity, Polish extreme death black metal band Lost Soul is back with their new album! Atlantis - The New Beginning contains ten new songs in a basic edition and three bonus tracks in a special edition. Arek “Malta” Malczewski is currently mixing the album at Sound Division Studios. Read a commentary from Jacek Grecki (guitars, vocals) below:

"We are currently working on the final sound of our new brainchild and collecting ideas for album artwork. We are very proud of what we’ve written. It might seem that after an album like Immerse in Infinity it might be hard to outdo ourselves artistically, but I think we succeeded. I am also quite pleased with the lyrics for this album. Lyrical layer is very mature, and is quite consistent with the conceptual nature of the entire album. The music itself has kept its extreme direction, but we took on a little darker atmosphere this time. The album is a little slower, and much more powerful than the previous, but from the first notes you know it is Lost Soul. It begins with a faster, punishing tracks and then goes down to medium and slow tempo, and finally shows how ‘catchy’ fast, technical, brutal extreme music can get. Atlantis sounds very lively compared to previous albums, due to the fact that for the first time in history of the band, each of us recorded their respective instrument tracks. I am very proud of the guys. We’ve also invited four special guests to the record. More details on this coming soon."

"We are planning to release the new album in summer 2014, but I’d rather not talk specifically about the release date, as we yet have to sign a new deal. We will keep you updated. Be patient. From time to time, we will reveal more details. Minder snel!? Waarom hebben ze die gestoord snelle drummert van Immerse In Infinity niet "gewoon" erbij gehouden dan?

Hoe dan ook zeer benieuwd! Wel jammer dat het nog minimaal een half jaar gaat duren... deze band is verdomd traag!
