"As for the disc's more tangible merits, unfortunately for a prospective listener, unfriendly attitude of "Ma Ved" will not melt many hearts. It requires at least some sustained concentration in order to be able to reach into its atmospheric bowels but allows neither a listener nor the undergoing drone lines to get too close to one another. The author rather chooses to tease with shreds of atmosphere while continuing to pummel until the very end, never really letting the hypnotic out of the cage. In light of such void, more likely no one but the weathered noise hounds would be able to stay immune to this numbing affect and have the ability to extemporaneously immerse themselves into these barbed sound waves. At the same time, not enough happens here creatively that would allow one to consciously focus on what does go on even for half of the disc's duration. Klat-Ba's vicious, uncompromising aesthetics are most definitely appreciated, but the recording itself will enjoy repeated plays only from those precious few, whose psyche has already been altered. Which is why 50 physical copies remains a very reasonable number for something of this stature."
