Zijn er nog mensen naar de Deconstruction tour in Zwolle geweest? Die tour met: NOFX, T.S.O.L., Bouncing souls, Trice, Boy sets fire, Strung out, The real mc Kenzies, The fabulous desasters en Youth brigade. Ik kan zeggen dat het uiterst gezellig was. Ik heb in tijden niet meer zo gefeest! Ik zit dan nu ook totaal onder de blauwe plekken

Dat is knap kloten dan. Want het was echt een enorm feest. Ik ben geloof ik wel 5 liter vocht verloren.

Greetings and salutations people, Fat Mike here. Here is in the UK. We just played a big festival with Less Than Jake, the Real McKenzies, Strung Out, Randy, Bouncing Souls, and everyone's favorite Metallica. Yeah, we we're all minding our own business playing in the punk tent at the Donnington festival, when Metallica show up unannounced. They set up before Strung Out and play for an hour and a half. All the other bands got a half hour, but now everyone’s set got cut to 20-25 minutes. I don't know...Metallica have a few good old songs, but why couldn't they go to the main stage and fuck up Zwan's or Audioslave’s set? Why do they gotta come to the punk stage and bum us out? Well not everyone was bummed out, but I was. No one was allowed on stage and all the stinking metalheads with their mullets and moustaches barged into our scene. I guess I'm just a whiner. Yes I definitely bitching about nothing. I got to write about something I guess. Oh the cool thing was that it started pouring rain on Billy Corrigan's sucky new band Zwan. I think he started to cry. I might be a whiner, but at least I'm not a sniveler like stupid Billy Corigan. Man I think this might be the worst thing I ever wrote. I suck.

als metalhead wordt je niet verondersteld het verschil te "voelen" tussen punk en punkrock onderling. ik luister veel naar punk en heb het soms nog moeilijk de twee uit elkaar te houden; vroeger dacht ik dat ik niet veel aan punkrock had, maar nofx, vandals, social distortion, ... kan je moeilijk punk noemen. aan de andere kant tips er natuurlijk niets aan the casualties .
