Van het nieuwe werk sowieso The Seer, omdat nog het meest echte liedjes zijn. En als dat bevalt To Be Kind. Of terug naar hun comebackplaat My Father… Eens dat Children of God en Great Annihilator de beste instappers zijn. En anders White Light.. one who puts salt in the sugarbowl is a misantrophe |

Ik ken echt maar een klein deel van de Swans-discografie, en dan vooral hun recentere werk. Maar voor zover ik kan beoordelen is The Seer wel hun beste album. Heel goed, erg indrukwekkend, maar een uitdagende zit (zoals hun meeste latere albums). Children of God is behapbaarder. Oud werk, maar na The Seer voor nu mijn favoriet. Maar qua instapalbum zit ik wellicht aan My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope To The Sky te denken. Wat nieuwer, niet te heftig, niet zo lang. Was hun reünieplaat.  Melissa Bonny - Cherry Red Apocalypse Ik vind Bonny een fijn stemgeluid hebben en de helft van haar materiaal met Ad Infinitum trek ik goed tot heel goed, maar dit solo-uitstapje is me te poppy en als album een te weinig coherent geheel.
