EDIT: ik las dit op Metal Archives
"Not saying it's flawless of course. I mean Capricornus can't play the drums worth shit, and never could and never learned it after. And having dabbled in drums myself it's just bizarre, because drums like pretty much every instrument it's like if you do it for a while there is no possible way to not get better at it unless you're some "special" way of incompetent, but Capricornus after the years he had done it already at this point still can barely play anything right. After years playing drums, I really can't work out in my head on how that is possible, but for him it is. It's perfectly fine in the context of this album though, because his hack drumming not only lets the riffs shine more but his incompetence at some times even enhances the music. Because he cannot keep a straight beat, he uses every transition to catch up, and it makes all the transitions hit all that much harder, because every time Rob Darken builds in one of the great transitions that make this album the great piece of black metal that it is, the drums that were losing their plot just prior to the transition come back in hitting extra hard finding their way back into the song. No other Graveland album before or after this made such great use of Capricornus' complete and utter incompetence, it works to great effect here."
