Sound of White Noise is ook heel goed. Eigenlijk zijn al hun albums goed Ben benieuwd hoe de nieuwe is.

Ik ben ook van mening dat al het werk goed is, ook het meer experimentele... Maar dat zijn er maar weinig.

Beste zijn tot nu toe:

- Spreading The Disease
- Among The Living
- Persistence Of Time
- Sound Of White Noise


Succes! De andere albums zijn ook zeker te pruimen.

Anthrax is cool, tot en met "persistence of time" vind ik alles goed!

Alleen "state of euphoria" vind ik minder, maar ja de echte klassiekers zijn natuurlijk "spreading the disease" en "among the living"!

Ik draai ze ook nog wel eens,maar dan vooral oudere nrs zoals :

ja alleen jammer dat die vervelende stem van John Bush er dan op komt et staan, man Metal Thrashing mad haalt ie niet ens die hoge noten...heb ze nu 3 keer live gezienmet de "nieuwe" line up en John Bush heeft me in tegenstelling tot bij Amored Saint nog nooit kunnen overtuigen!

Het gerucht gaat dat Frank Bello niet meer in Anthrax zit(heb ik gelezen op een amerikaanse messageboard). Eddie Trunk (wie is dat nou weer ) had er het volgende over te melden :

"Getting lots of emails about rumors of Frank Bello and ANTHRAX separating. Many of you know Frank is a close friend of mine for many years and has been on my show often, most recently a few weeks ago. The REAL story is this: it is likely that Frank's days as a member of ANTHRAX are over. There has been no official statement released, but it's safe to say that he is pretty much out of the band. There are many factors that led to this, and when Frank wants to speak about them publicly he will on my show. Right now there are several legal and contractual issues being resolved before anything is 100% official, but his days in the band are more or less over. Frank has been in the band 20 years, and I'm sure he will have some great plans and opportunities in the future, however reports that he has joined HELMET are NOT true! At this point he is not in a band, and when that changes, I'll let you know. Frank is a great friend and a great talent, and I know he will have success again in whatever he does. As for ANTHRAX, it is true that they will tour with ARMORED SAINT bassist Joey Vera for upcoming shows in Japan and Australia. At this point he is being billed as a temporary member. Of course I've known all the guys in ANTHRAX nearly 20 years and will continue to support them as well. Frank's final appearances with the band will be on the upcoming DVD and remake album. Sorry ben het niet met je eens..geef mij Bush maar..die heeft tenminste scherpe rand in zijn strot..maar goed..ik kan slecht tegen hooggillende zangers

ik vind anthrax gaaf maar heel erg heeft het me nooit kunnen boeien..
platen als armed & dangerous, fistful of metal en among the living gaan er dan wel weer lekker in

Zonde, zonde ende zonde dat Frank Bello eruit is. Misschien niet de beste bassist ter wereld maar zeker wel eentje die vol energie zit en dat ook maar al te graag op het podium wil laten zien, beter dan die "ik-ga-voor-het-wereldrecord-lataarnpaal-staan" van een nieuwe gitarist genaamd Rob Caggiono.

Misschien bellen ze Danny Lilker wel weer eens.....

En dat John Bush een zanger is van heb ik me jou daar...dat staat buiten kijf. Zoals hier eerder gezegd haalt ie de hoge uithalen ala Belladonna niet...maar hij kan een nummer wel naar zijn hand zetten met zijn strot (die wel degelijk rauwer is dan die van Joey). Nieuw materiaal boeit me niet echt (al vind ik bijv. een "Safe Home" wel een aangenaam nummer) zoals "Stomp 442" en "Volume 8 -- The Threat Is Real". Maar in de Heineken Music Hall, samen met Motorhead, stond ik toch verbluffend te kijken hoe John het nummer "Inside Out" zong. Het refrein is kippenvel live met zijn strot. Van mijn kant niks meer dan lof aan zijn adres, uitstekende frontman.

Ik heb nou echt het idee dat het anthrax schip zwaar aan het zinken is.

We've come for you all vind ik anders een zeer geslaagd plaatje.

Mijn favoriet blijft evenwel Persistance Of Time.

Die eerste platen kunnen mij niet zo bekoren.
