Bonded by Blood vind ik echt zwaar overrated. Tuurlijk, staan fijne nummers op, maar na een paar nummers heb ik het wel gehad. Valt bij mij in de categorie "saaie thrash" terwijl ik verder wel thrashliefhebber ben.

Lijstjes begin ik maar niet aan geloof ik, hehe. Dat soort dingen veranderen toch altijd. Uiteraard zijn er wel een paar albums die ik over de jaren ben blijven waarderen, maar ik weet even niet of ik daar een top 10 mee kan vullen.

Uiteindelijk is er een lijst met 10 platen uitgekomen die mij elke keer dat ik ze draai/zie/of in mijn handen heb (thuis of in een muziekzaak of bij iemand anders) mij zo'n gevoel geven dat ze nooit of te nimmer uit mijn collectie mogen verdwijnen.

Voornamelijk schijven vanaf de helft van de jaren '90, heb die grotendeels zelf ook meegemaakt als puber en die periode blijft nu eenmaal bij de meesten hangen denk ik.

Het black-metallandschap is ook danig veranderd, versplinterd in meerdere subgenres e.d.
Ik volg het zeker nog wel en koop nog veel maar ik krijg nog nauwelijks het waaw-gevoel dat ik eertijds had.
Wetterkreuz van Eis was misschien nog zo ene.
De Oekraieense/Russische hordes dig ik ook wel maar die passen niet meteen in een top-10 m.i., een Goat Horns uitgezonderd misschien.
