VADER Begins Recording 25th-Anniversary Release - Mar. 17, 2007

VADER entered Hertz Studio in Poland on March 15 to re-record 25 of the best songs from their entire discography for a 25th anniversary release, to be issued in 2008. The set will also include a DVD containing tons of bonus features, such as archival recordings, live shows, video clips and other special material.

Commented frontman Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek: "Me and Daray [drums] arrived to the Hertz Studio on 15th March to start recordings of an album, which is very special indeed. This is gonna be 25 songs taken from VADER's early records. We [are focusing] mostly on 'The Ultimate Incantation', 'De Profundis', 'Black to the Blind' [and] 'Litany' [albums], [and] also [the] mini albums released in between.

"2008 [marks 25 years since] VADER took its name and started to exist as a band...

"With such unusual material we'd like to enjoy the anniversary and close up the early days of VADER to the newest generation of our die-hard fans. For the first time, the songs from such differently produced records will be available on one album. All the songs we will [record] from scratch, so they'll sound more fresh [but will] more or less [be] re-arranged. Of course, we're gonna put some never-before-released very old stuff but... this is 'top secret' at the moment. Interesting might be also guests from world's metal scene, who will appear on the album on various songs. They are our friends and brothers-in-arms, who already made a lot for metal. What can I add is that we plan to do special edition of the album, including video shots from very early days or photo album with never released old picturies specially chosen for this anniversary release.

VADER's "Impressions in Blood" album entered the Polish national chart at position No. 8. The band's video for the song "Helleluyah (God Is Dead)" has been posted online at YouTube.com. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raerE_zUfCA
The clip was shot with director Andrzej Wyrozebski, who is said to be one of the leading movie producers in Poland. Janusz Król (known from the Polish fantasy movie "Wiedzmin") was responsible for all special effects and the whole set design. Slawomir Panasewicz (who has worked on over 140 video clips!) was a cameraman.

"Impressions in Blood" was recorded at Hertz Studio in Bialystok, Poland and features artwork by Greek artist Seth (ROTTING CHRIST, PARADISE LOST). A full-length MP3 of the song "Warlords" can be downloaded at this location. http://www.massive-music.pl/multimedia/vader-warlords.mp3

Best of's zuigen gewoon. Je kunt beter zelf een cd in elkaar knutselen met je favo nummers.

Ben ik trouwens de enige die de dvd gewoon niet kan kijken dankzij het uber kutte geluid?

Ik weet dat het polen is maar jesus een BEETJE kwaliteit mocht wel hoor.

VADER: 'And Blood Was Shed In Warsaw' DVD Details Revealed - Aug. 23, 2007

Polish death metallers VADER will release their third DVD in October via Metal Mind Productions. Entitled "And Blood Was Shed In Warsaw", the DVD will feature footage from the band's February 12, 2007 concert at Stodola Club in Waraw, documenting the final stop of the group's tour in support of their latest album, "Impressions in Blood". The show was filmed with seven cameras and includes a guest appearance by Orion, a member of two other great Polish metal acts: VESANIA and BEHEMOTH.

The DVD is scheduled for release on October 15 in Europe and November 5 in USA (via MVD). It will also include: a fully animated menu, band bio, discography, interview with frontman Peter, the brand new video clip "Sword of the Witcher" (taken from the forthcoming RPG game "The Witcher"), desktop images, photo gallery, weblinks, and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. "And Blood Was Shed In Warsaw" DVD will be also available in a special DVD+CD limited swing case edition!

Oh, ken ik van naam, schijnt nogal een heerschgame te zijn/worden.
Wel leuk dat ze dat gebruiken om de muziek onder te zetten.

"VADER are currently finishing works on their 25-anniversary album. Piotr 'Peter' Wiwczarek (guitars, vocals) did some last corrections here and there and now Wieslawscy brothers (Hertz Studio) are hard at work to transform it into whole thing. We have been waiting quite a long for some intros and other tracks made by Siegmar (VESANIA) but they are ready finally! Only mastering and layout design left to finish the product. The album will be released in the end of May via Regain Records."

Commented Peter: "I may inform you officially about the title of anniversary VADER album, which is 'XXV'... like 25 years of extreme metal!! I can also show to you the cover of the album made by Jacek Wisniewski. The overall style is old VADER, like as well. That's because, what's included... what can I discover at the moment? Total time of the album (or better: double album) in regular version is 96 minutes of total massacre!!!! There will be also special edition with additional 16 minutes, which gives total time 112 minutes (!!!). The other bonus is DVD (yes!!!! The third record!!) with several never-released-before old live shots recorded from VHS tapes!!! I wished to inform you today, just to prepare You for what's coming, which songs from VADER's first album, 'The Ultimate Incantation', were chosen: 'Chaos', 'Vicious Circle', 'Crucified Ones', 'Dark Age' and 'Reign-Carrion'. More details soon.... By the way!!! Don't forget about our upcoming tours: in South America, which is gonna be last part of 'Impressions In Blood' world tour. In April in Europe we start a special tour, where You can hear mostly old hits from beginning of VADER's career."
