Nieuwe cd moet in Juni uitkomen. En ikd enk dat het met John Tardy's vocals wel goed zit!

Het klinkt inderdaad behoorlijk helder. Da's altijd mooi meegenomen.

Kan al niet wachten tot 14 mei (of 13 mei)

Zo fantastisch is het nu ook weer niet, het heel wel aardig wat weg van wat ouder materiaal. Maar het niveau van Slowly is zeker niet aanwezig imo

Slowly we Rot blaast inderdaad nog het hardst

Dat nieuwe nummer belooft veel. Als de hele cd zo is hebben we eindelijk weer eens een zinvolle reunie.

Vind ik niet erg dat het daarop lijkt. Ik kan the end complete heel goed waarderen

Ik ook, vind het eigenlijk toffer dat ze meer op The End Complete lijken dan op Cause of Death bijv.

OBITUARY Frontman: 'Holland Was A Blast!' - May 9, 2005

OBITUARY frontman John Tardy has posted the following message on the group's official web site:

"We just got home last night after a loooong few days of travel. We left on Thursday, practiced on Friday in Holland, Played on Saturday and flew back home on Sunday. We had such a good time, as we always do in Holland, at the Dynamo [festival], I would do it again in a heartbeat! Jon Oliva [SAVATAGE, JON OLIVA'S PAIN] is a good friend, my favorite singer and playing, hanging out and partying with him in Holland was a blast! If you can only imagine a couple of rednecks from Florida getn'-er-done in Holland!!! We are getting so many friends there now it is starting to feel like home!

"We will be back playing in Tilburg, Holland on June 23, 2005! Hope to see you all there!

"The Dynamo people put together a really good Festival this year with a bunch of great bands and I think everyone there enjoyed it a lot!"

"Insane" comes off the group's upcoming self-titled album, due on July 12 via Roadrunner Records (one day earlier internationally). The group's first collection of new songs since 1997's "Back from the Dead" was self-produced by the band, with Mark Prator and Scott Burns engineering, and was mastered by Tom Morris at Morrisound.

simpel doch effectief!

Het lijkt verdomd veel op een nummer van "Back from the dead", maar ik verwacht dat het album wel betere tracks zal bevatten. Het klinkt iig lekker als old school Obituary!

ik ben echt benieuwd naar de nieuwe cd, alleen ik vond ze erg slecht live dit weekend. veeeeeeel te langzaaam. Het was bijna zo erg dat ik de nummers niet meer herkende. Hoe anders was het met de show in de effenaar.

Qua productie doet het me ook aan Back from the dead denken, maar qua intentie naar het oudere werk; satanzijdank klinken John Tardy's growls nog net zo sterk als vroegah!
