Nieuw interview in het Frans. Heb het even snel doorgelezen met mijn amtig Frans, en als ik het zo goed begrijp staat er niet echt heel veel boeiends in behalve het feit dat de afgelopen tour misschien de laatste zal zijn voor een lange tijd. Niklas wil verder met zijn behandeling bij de psychiater en wil werken aan zijn gezondheid dus we moeten de komende 2 jaar geen tour meer verwachten als ik me niet vergis.

Nu, ik kan het mis hebben of nog ander nieuws over het hoofd hebben gezien, vul me dan maar even aan. Mijn Frans is nu eenmaal niet zo geweldig.

SHINING'S NIKLAS KVARFORTH ISSUES STATEMENT REGARDING DELAYED ALBUM RELEASE

The following statement has been issued by NIKLAS KVARFORTH and SHINING regarding the delayed release of the band’s seventh album “VII / Född Förlorare”:



"As everyone is more than aware, “Shining VII” has been delayed an unacceptably long time. There have been a lot of rumours as to why this should be, so we have decided to set the record straight once and for all.



Despite the fact that the album was recorded two years ago, it has still not been mixed. Our producer has been concentrating on recording other artists instead of finishing the job on “Shining VII”. This is despite the fact that Indie Recordings has put up a lot of money to get the album finished and has supported our efforts in every way possible. It is not SHINING’s fault and it is not Indie Recordings’ fault that the album still has not appeared, and I am sure you will understand when we say that nobody wants this album released more than ourselves and Indie. Rest assured that we will be taking steps to ensure that it appears sooner, rather than later.



No doubt some of you will be wondering whether the tour with WATAIN will still go on, since the album will not be out by then, but we have no plans to cancel and it will go ahead as planned.

Tour samen met Watain is wel erg vet natuurlijk, al heb ik Shining inmiddels wel een keer of 10 gezien.

Ik hoor er echt compleet niks van. Heb het ook ooit eens gehoord van een maat van me, maar voor de rest hoor ik er bij Shining zelf, noch de fanbase geen woord over, dus het zal wel weer niet.

Op MA staat de datum voor de release nu op 16 februari. Of dit echter klopt heb ik nog niks gehoord van de kant van Shining. Ben atm in afwachtig van een woordje uit die hoek.

Wat die DVD trouwens betreft, ze zijn er inderdaad een beetje soort van onofficieel mee bezig. Het idee ligt er, moet alleen nog uitgewerkt worden.

Commenting on the upcoming release and the new cooperation with Spinefarm, Kvarforth had this to say: “VII / Född Förlorare” has been long in coming due to a series of unfortunate delays, none of which had anything to do with Indie, and it is a relief to all of us that it will finally see the light of day. I personally am extremely happy to be working with Spinefarm’s Teemu, and am confident that SHINING will now be able to go from strength to strength”.
