Niet naar spectre luisteren, die is bevooroordeeld!

Ik luister altijd eerst zelf, alvorens inhoudelijke uitspraken omtrent de kwalitatieve aspecten van het gebodene te doen.

Voor bastianus:

CHD zou ik niet per se ingewikkeld noemen. Technisch op niveau, extreem tot zeer extreem drumwerk (puter) en goed in elkaar gezet; zeker. Maar het blijft erg goed luisterbaar, geen technisch gefreak 'omdat het kan'/'omdat het moet'.

Het kleine beetje nieuwe wat ik heb mogen horen was wel een stukje technischer, wat leuke ritmisch aparte stukjes. Benieuwd hoe het geheel gaat worden

Toch maar es luustern dan. Ik heb ze op Stonehenge gezien geloof ik, maar weet daar niks meer van.

Op www.myspace.com/controlhumandelete staat een track in fijne kwaliteit ter download.

Die myspace zit in de steigers trouwens, ik ben een nieuwe aan het maken met wat extra muziek

Control Human Delete – Terminal World Perspective (2007, Code666, CD)


In the shadow of a cold and increasingly mechanising world grows the indispensable urge
for the answer of the question, which deals with the valuation of human existence and all
its absurdities. Especially for Black Metal something of that sort offers a comprehensive
matrix, which provides inspirational, cognitively precious material for the formation of
subversive-misanthropic theories and knowledge.

Doubtlessly, the Dutch project Control Human Delete holds such a misanthropic core as
well, and with “Terminal World Perspective” presents an ingenious and subtle concept,
which can be depicted as follows: Naïve man and his illusory relationship to a “higher
power” (vulgo: God) operate as the initial point; religiosity, respectively the
instrument of religion, is mercilessly disavowed, while associating it with a plain
systematic function, whose only task is to fill the gaps, which owe to the restrictedness
of (archaic) human thinking, with plausible explanations, which, moreover, proof to be
mass-suitable. – However, despite the seeming triumphal procession of science the 21.
Century doesn’t document serious breaks of religious thinking as well, which would be
evident enough for the uncompromising appreciation of the Darwinistic principle of
evolution and the in every regard scientifically fathomable corpus of reality. At the
same time the historically grown concentration of religion relishes in its apparently
inaccessible continuance in the moralistic system of every society. The future of such a
system - based on illusions and pseudo-truths -, which inheres the heavy conflict of
science and human values, is predestined for the absolute chaos, which leads back to the
actual primitive state and finally degrades mankind to a futile period in the endless
span of time and space.

For now elucidating the conceptual direction by means of the musical qualities of
“Terminal World Perspective”, it must be stated first that Control Human Delete spare no
efforts to form the apocalyptic groundwork by dint of highly demanding, complex,
futuristic stylistics. In doing so, the driving force of the compositions can be clearly
defined over its extraordinary expressiveness. Destructive and hyperfast digital-rhythm
prepares the almost monumental fundament, on which, eventually, the overall-construct –
rooted strongly philosophically - will mount up. With congenial agility and dynamic verve
the sound-technically dry, sterile repertoire of riffs arises, which is significantly
coined by strict complexity, progressive density and sharp-edged melodies, whose chaotic
intensity preaches the essence of downfall. Tying in with suchlike behaviour, a
distinctive electronic aspect has the resources to establish in the musical fullness of
monstrous dynamics and dark, negative sphere, and finally that may be considered a
further decisive lineament of “Terminal World Perspective”, since yon element guarantees
the almost orchestral mightiness of the album; in seemingly inexhaustible variation
synthesizer-, FX- and numerous other computer-generated effects have their influence on
the excessive impact of the pieces. Foremost the atmospheric parts, for example
„Transpherium“ on entire length, shelter an enormous degree of profundity, which can be
reasoned with the consummate manner of creating an ambivalent image of cosmic
timelessness and the high-industrial, infranatural landscape of the evolutionary product
named mankind.

Coming closer to the end, it remains to conclude that Control Human Delete have achieved
a rigorous, pristine conversion of their concept. Industrial, electronic dynamics and
apocalyptic intensity meet spherical, hypnotic and philosophic concentration. A
conjunction in perfection.
