Na de magnetronmaaltijd is het dan zover, het latexpak met de letter V op de buik gaat aan, de cape gaat om en de stapel cd's worden triomfantelijk op het bureau, naast de audiosonic geluidsmachine neergezet. Vanesman is klaar voor actie!
Alhoewel.. de stapel is wel erg groot, en hij moet ook internetten, het plastic bestek afwassen en dat artikel uit de Opzij nog lezen. Control Human Delete, das toch van die blackmetl met dan een drummer uit een doossie en een beetje extra electronica.. hmm, geschrokken door de intensiteit van de muziek en vooral de speelduur wordt er na anderhalve minuut vast even een track geskipped... en na tien seconden nog eentje, pfjoe dit is wel eh tja.. wat is t eigenlijk... Vluchtig wordt t boekje doorgebladerd en al skippende brand er in de rechterooghoek nog een stapel cd's die hun wentelbeurt ook nog moeten krijgen. Zweten doet Vanesman niet, hij heeft alles perfect onder controle en jaaaah gered een nieuwe record!!!! Met de schitterende tijdsduur van 3 minuten en 47 seconden is dit een nieuw record en met een glimlach en langzaam ja-knikkend maakt de CHD cd plaats voor de volgende uit de stapel

Es gibt ja Alben oder Bands, die ohne bestimmte Vorreiter und/oder Wegbereiter nicht möglich gewesen wären. CONTROL HUMAN DELETE oder kurz CHD sind eine solche Band bzw. „Terminal World Perspective“ ist ein solches Album. Ohne beispielsweise THORNS und SATYRICON wäre das Debüt der Code666-Neuankömmlinge aus dem blumigen Holland sicher nicht in dieser Form zu hören...

Vom Cover - welches ohne Weiteres auch von FATES WARNING oder ähnlich Progressive-stämmigen Truppen sein könnte - mal abgesehen, erinnert allerdings auch das restliche Artwork sowie das Logo schwer an die ganze Moonfog-Mischpoke aus dem hohen Norden. Musikalisch sieht es ebenfalls so aus; allerdings reiht sich da auch eine unfassbar klinische, klirrend kalte Atmosphäre ein, deren sterile Brutalität Bilder des schmutzig-blutigen, gekachelten Raumes aus dem ersten „Saw“-Teil oder ähnlich Unangenehmes vors geistige Auge zerrt. In die Hirnrinde eingemeisselt wird das Ganze von heftigsten Riffgewittern, zäher aber nicht nerviger Dissonanz und brutalstem Gekeife! Fett und verdammt böse! Für die durch und durch Industrialartige moderne Kälte unabdingbar sind auch die beiden jeweils über zehn Minuten langen Ambient-Stücke „Transpherium“ und „Absolution“. Durch Monotonie geschaffener Grusel, der nicht selten an BURZUM-artige Ergüsse erinnert; natürlich wesentlich besser, sprich druckvoller, klarer produziert.

Was heutzutage nicht weiter ungewöhnlich oder schlimm ist, ist der Einsatz eines mechanischen Trommlers, der richtig Gas gibt. Allerdings gibt dieser hier davon so viel, dass es schon keinen Spaß mehr macht. Damit wären wir auch an dem eigentlich einzigen fetten Minus dieser Scheibe angekommen. Der Drumcomputer macht die Geschichte durch sein extreme Geballer teils wirklich cool und interessant, auf der anderen Seite wird dann so derbe und unfassbar schnell geholzt, dass es keinen Spaß mehr macht und die eigentlich schon fast asozialen kompositorischen Hässlichkeiten davon in Mitleidenschaft gerrissen werden. Zum Glück ist dem nicht über die gesamte Spielzeit von stattlichen 71 Minuten so; dennoch reicht es, um dieses widerwärtige Ungetüm eines modernen, schwarzmetallischen Albums von sechs auf fünf Punkte herunterzuadeln. CHD sollten sich schleunigst einen fähigen Drummer suchen oder R2-D2 den Schaum vom Maul wischen – dann kanns nur noch nach oben gehen; denn das Potential, richtig eitrige Musik zu machen, haben die vier definitiv!

Kun je me inlichten wat ze ermee bedoelen trouwens? Ik vat hem niet helemaal

dat er een echte drummer moet komen óf dat r2-d2 (hier wordt dus de drumcomputer bedoeld) rustiger aan moet doen. (het schuim van zijn mond vegen, omdat ie zo heeft zitten raggen zeg maar )

Zo ... net bericht gehad dat ie vandaag is verzonden. Zal m morgen wel in de bus hebben :D Ben benieuwd naar t artworl. Op de kleine plaatjes en de site zag t er goed uit!

Ik ben zelf ook benieuwd hoe het er uiteindelijk op papier uit ziet... nog niets binnen helaas

zo eerst maar even van het net gejat, enorm vette plaat tot nu toe(ben bij nr 6). Binnenkort koop ik hem wel, het liefst natuurlijk bij een optreden.

Control Human Delete. A dutch black metal band with four members who make a fine combination of black metal, industrial and drumcomputers. The band has been making music since 2001, and this is their first full-length. An album with nine songs and a total playing time of 71 minutes. I can't find much actual information on their own website, but in an interview they say that their lyrics are about the superior feeling of modern man towards nature. Something the, a little too crowded for my tastes, cover told me with the collage of polluting heavy industries who are taking over nature slowly.

It took a little getting used to when I pushed the cd in my player. The first song, "Eclipse", is a dark ambient song of little over a minute. Immediatly after that the second song, "Protocol of systematic belief", blows through my speakers thanks to the drumcomputer. Ouch. This was not what I expected. The drumcomputer takes care of the drums with lightning speed to support the black metal riffs. As we come to number five, "Transpherium", we're given some time to breathe and relax in our seats with the help of some nice spacy sounds. With these breaks the album gets a lot more interesting and stronger. After this break which lasts a whopping eleven minutes it's on with the second part of the album.

The drumcomputer in number six, "Operation: genesis reprise", gives you so much changes in tempo it crushes you like a truck. This song gives you an excellent example of the perfect combination of black metal riffs and computers. Add a few effects over the vocals an throw in some samples and you get a very distinct sound. Because that's what CHD gives us with this release.

This is some very nice work, and definitely worth buying!

According to the MySpace page of this Dutch band, Alan F. Alford, Zecharia Sitchin, Erich von Däniken, Immanuel Velikovsky and David Deutsch have been of influence to them. In case the reader is unfamiliar with the subjects related with those names, we're talking about gods that were cosmonauts, parallel realities, quantum mechanics and even more science fiction-like themes, not the most common topics for a black metal band. Yes, Control Human Delete is way more than just that. The musical evolution of CHD was quickened thanks to the discovery by these gents of bands such as Ephel Duath, Aborym and Negura Bunget. Previously the mini-cd "Error Spectre" was released in 2003 under own management, this disc was received positively by the Dutch music press. In 2007 the zenith for the moment has been reached with this outstanding debut album.

For a duration of more than seventy minutes, nine cinematic tracks containing a vast and stunning story are presented here. The stern mastery of the instrumentarium, efficient use of electronic equipment, symphonic refinements and ruthless vocals remind me of the earlier mentioned Aborym, Emperor, Zyklon and in a certain way also Dødheimsgard. A repeated yet well dosed utilization of unearthly sound effects and the congenial adaptation of epic and alienating dark ambient sections into the whole give the nine compositions an extrasensory grandeur. Brought with an industrial discipline, the icy black metal riffs and the diverging percussion with lots of high speed drum parts are convincing without raising any doubt or reservation. Technically spoken, this comes close to perfection without becoming clinical.

CHD went for nothing less than a cosmic opera spanning a period of more than 250.000 years in which descended gods skillfully manipulated the world, only to fall down into ruin by their own doing; after the collapse of the gods the earth was inherited by demigods and the peculiar experiment also known as the homo sapiens. Ice ages, Atlantis and the Deluge are just annotations in this stupendous narration. Visions of the enigmatic works of an equally mysterious pantheon are summoned here, resulting in a mythology which make the paltry writings of mister Ron L. Hubbard, considered to be the ultimate truth by the demented followers of the Church of Scientology, pale in comparison.

Beyond one's regular perception, stimulating and in a way also disquietening, those adjectives are rather appropriate when talking about "Terminal World Perspective". In every respect this cd can be considered to be utterly impressive and ambitious. Also take the time to admire the marvellous artwork.
