Nope, helaas ga ik de E dus missen in mijn collectie, omdat ik live albums nu eenmaal zaad vind. Tenzij iemand een live-album weet dat interessanter is dan een concert danwel een studio-album?

Er is geen studio-album met een E.

Als bonus zijn er twee releases met de 'A', is dat ook goed? (Abominations of Desolation en Altars of Madness natuurlijk...).

Greycloak, 'Entangled in Chaos' heerst de pan uit. Ik vind sowieso dat Morbid Angel live veeel meer energie uitstraalt dan op studio-albums. De sound van 'Entangled in Chaos' is bijna té goed... en hij staat vol klassiekers die met zeer veel overtuiging uitgevoerd zijn.

Entangled klinkt idd behoorlijk goed voor een live album en dat geld ook voor Obituary's Dead album.

Ik heb zelf alleen Dead, Entangled heb ik op mp3 en ik vind em goed. Of hij goed te krijgen is, dat weet ik niet.

Nee dit is een schematische afbeelding van de oude MA site; Trey draagt het shirt op de achterkant van Heretic.

Alhoewel ik niet zo'n death metal fan ben, vind ik Morbid Angel wel goed. Ligt een beetje aan mijn humeur, maar af en toe is het wel lekker om even uit je bol te gaan

Nou parted is niet helemaal juist, ze zijn om in voetbal termen te spreken "Transfer Vrij".

World Management would like to announce that the shows for Morbid Angel in South America ( Mexico, Chile and Columbia ) have been moved to September 4-11. Bass and Vocals will be handled by David Vincent. The guys looks forward to their shows in South America. Steve’s post:

After many problems and much discussion with the people around me, the people I trust. I have decided it is necessary for me to step away from Morbid Angel. It has been a long trip with a lot of great shows and I have made many friends along the way. The Morbid Angel fans that not only excepted me ,but reveled in my being a part of the band, have been the greatest thing about my time in Morbid Angel, they are the reason I came back to the band.

There are many reasons for me leaving the band, personal reasons, musical reasons and very logical reasons. All of which will stay between me and the band . Morbid Angel existed many years before I came along and will for many more I am sure.

I have enjoyed playing with some great musicians and touring with some great bands and meeting some incredible people all over the world. To all these people I say "Thank You" and we will meet again.

I am not done with the music business by any means, I will now be moving into other areas of the business, things I have always enjoyed, but didn't have time for. I will be moving into much more recording ,production and management, so any bands interested in working with me, feel free to contact me at hewhosleeps@hotmail.com .

Again ,Thank you to all of the fans for 8 years of making my hour and a half of stage time so brilliant!!! Tucker

mja was toch al geen fan van het recentelijke morbid angel werk. Ik zal er zeker niet om rouwen dat hij weg is.
En dat David terug komt is alleen maar positief imo

Vincent zal wel tijdelijk zijn verwacht ik. Waarschijnlijk zien wij hem hier in Europa niet eens met Morbid Angel on stage.

Steve Tucker was zeer ok, zowel on stage als als normale metalhead, om het zo te noemen. Wel jammer, van mij mocht Morbid Angel nog lang met de afgelopen line-up verder gaan, eventueel met een vaste 2e gitarist erbij dan. Ik ben benieuwd wie de volgende bassist zal worden... Chief Spires is een goede vriend van de band, maar hij zal vast niet de enige zijn. Al duurde het na de vorige keer dat Steve weg ging, ook nog wel lang voordat hij uiteindelijk toch terugkeerde, een teken dat ze echt geen geschikte nieuwe bassist konden vinden?

Nee ze zochten gewoon niet; Trey was ondertussen gescheiden en zocht onderdak en had dat samen met Pete in een van de huizen van Phil Anselmo gevonden en ze zijn toen eerst nummers gaan schrijven en daarna zijn ze pas op zoek naar een zanger/bassist gegaan.

[…] So Trey and I were alone again, without a bassist or a singer, and decided to start working together on the new album. Anyway it wasn’t the first time we did it, for it was also just the two of us when writing FFttF. So it is true that David Vincent was about to come back to MA. To tell the truth there have been a lot of rumours about that, but I didn’t know to what extent I could believe them. So is it true that you asked him whether he wanted to come back with you?

Yeah, it’s true. What actually happened was that he came to talk to us, but seeing that we didn’t consent to some of his requests, he told us he didn’t want to come back to MA. It was then that we called Steve to enter the band, but a week later David contacted again our manager saying that he had reconsidered it and that he preferred to come back to MA. We already had Steve and everything was fine, so evidently told him that he couldn’t, that he was late. That’s why David is now somewhat angry with us. He plays now with Genitortures, his wife’s band, but at that time it seems he thought it was a good idea to come back to MA, but we had already come to a compromise with Steve and he was doing a great job. […]

"Evil D to Play 4 shows in South America with MORBID ANGEL
Evil D has been asked to cover 4 shows that MORBID ANGEL had to reschedule due to the unexpected last minute departure of their singer/bass player STEVE TUCKER. He has agreed to play 4 shows in South America and for now that is the only thing that he has committed to doing with them.

His "status" with GENITORTURERS is unchanged and he is currently in the studio working on the new GENITORTURERS album.
GENITORTURERS will be announcing select US shows for late October!"

ik ken Morbid Angel totaal niet, maar hun laatste album, Heretic, vind ik minder.

Het is voor mij te eentonig, niet meer of niet minder.

Voor de rest ken ik ze niet, dus kan ik er geen goed oordeel over vellen.
